Prototype 2’s RADNET Brings Seven Weeks of Exclusive Content

January 31, 2012 by Josh Harmon

More than 55 free pieces of content will hit in the two months after the game’s launch.

Activision and Radical Entertainment have announced the RADNET Edition of Prototype 2, which will bring more than 55 pieces of exclusive content to the game in the seven weeks after launch.

A limited number of launch copies of the game will come bundled with a code granting access to RADNET. Every week from the game's release through June 7, RADNET will be updated with new in-game events, challenges, behdind-the-scenes videos, and bonus Mutations for the game's campaign. In addition, members will be able to grab exclusive avatar items and dynamic themes to adorn their console of choice.

Those who manage to participate in every last one of RADNET's weekly challenges and events will also be entitled to a very special, very secret bonus. Radical will announce more details about that in March, but at the moment, all they're telling us that it'll be "the ultimate shape-shifting reward." It's probably not a Prototype-themed Strech Armstrong doll, but a man can dream, can't he?

Prototype 2 will be out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 24, with a PC version following three months later on July 24.
