Disney Dreamlight Valley Teases New Star Path

August 16, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Guess what’s coming next.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has been a big hit since it was first released into the marketplace. The early access title gained a wide audience for its relaxed and casual gameplay. Adding in the fact that you also were dealing with some hefty IPs from the Disney company, there are plenty of fans out there that would spend countless hours playing this game. Players are constantly coming back because the development team is also bringing in more characters and popular Disney IPs into the mix.

It’s a constant guess as to what IP will be featured next. There’s certainly quite a wide range of characters and locations that could be added to this game. However, a new tease from the official Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter account might have just revealed what is coming to the game next. If this tease is correct, we might see two big franchises enter the game sooner rather than later. With that said, you can view the official tease provided by the Disney Dreamlight Valley team down below.

Can you guess the themes included in our next Star Path by these emojis?

This tease offers a slew of emojis, but it’s pretty easily guessable. It looks like the next Star Path will be featuring the Pirates of the Caribbean and Nightmare Before Christmas franchises. Just how they’ll be introduced and what exactly from these franchises will be featured remains a mystery for now. However, it’s likely got quite a few fans eager to see these IPs get brought into the game. With Star Paths, the game will bring plenty of themed content from these franchises into the mix.

As for those who might not have started Disney Dreamlight Valley, the game is often compared to the Animal Crossing franchise. In this title, players are going through a life simulation game. You’ll clear up an area and aid characters that are based on the Disney line of IPs with their problems. It’s a game that will likely grow in popularity as more franchises are added to the mix. For instance, there was plenty of online speculation that the game’s next big expansion would be based on the Alice in Wonderland franchise.

Currently, Disney Dreamlight Valley is available through early access right now. Players can get a copy of the game for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the PC platforms. Meanwhile, a full launch of the game will be free-to-play and expected to land sometime this year.
