PlayStation Plus Game Catalog July Additions Confirmed

July 18, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s what you can expect later this month.

Table of Contents[Hide][Show]
  • PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog July Additions
  • PlayStation Premium | Classics July Additions

Update:

The collection of games for PlayStation Plus Game Catalog are now available to enjoy. Meanwhile, we have learned what games are leaving the service next month.

Original Story…

PlayStation Plus subscribers that are on the Extra or Premium tier might be keen on knowing just what video games are being added to the Game Catalog this month. Fortunately, we know the new additions now, thanks to a post from the official PlayStation Blog. It looks like Sony is adding quite a few games this month, and best of all, you don’t have to wait very long before you can start enjoying them. If all goes well, then we should expect the new collection of titles to land on the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on July 18, 2023.

If you’re new to the PlayStation Plus scene, there are three tiers to pick. But if you’re after a collection of video games to enjoy, you’ll need to be at least subscribed to PlayStation Plus Extra. This will grant you access to PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. This feature is much like Xbox Game Pass but without first-party Sony titles landing on the service at launch. Regardless, the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog will still grant you access to hundreds of great video games. Furthermore, each month Sony adds a new collection of these titles. However, you don’t want to sit on these games too long as there are titles that tend to get removed after so long.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog July Additions

  • It Takes Two – PS4, PS5
  • Sniper Elite 5 – PS4, PS5
  • Snowrunner – PS4, PS5
  • World War Z – PS4, PS5
  • The Ascent – PS4, PS5
  • Undertale – PS4
  • Spongebob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated – PS4
  • Melty Blood: Type Lumina – PS4
  • Dysmantle – PS4, PS5
  • Circus Electrique – PS4
  • Dynasty Warriors 9 – PS4
  • Samurai Warriors 5 – PS4
  • My Little Pony: A Maritime Bay Adventure – PS4, PS5
  • Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R – PS4, PS5
  • Monster Jam Steel Titans – PS4

PlayStation Premium | Classics July Additions

  • Gravity Crash Portable – PS4, PS5
  • Twisted Metal – PS4, PS5
  • Twisted Metal 2 – PS4, PS5

All of these games will land on the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this July 18, 2023. Hopefully, there are a few games added in that might help tie you over this month until the next set of games release or a new title drops that’s been on your radar. At any rate, it does look like there is quite a range of different games and genres here. One of the great things about services that offer features like the Game Catalog is opening up titles or genres to try that you might have initially passed on.
