Don’t Worry, DOOM Will Have Advanced Graphics Options On PC

Yes, DOOM will have graphics options on the PC.

When gamers booted up the DOOM multiplayer beta client over the weekend, the first thing they noticed (apart from the main menu, that is) was the lack of graphics options. Most PC versions of games typically provide gamers with the ability to customize their visual options to fit their gaming systems.

Gamers were therefore disappointed to see that the options were not available in DOOM. Many even jumped to the conclusion that the game was a console port without any such options for the PC. This isn’t the case, as gamers who’ve hacked the beta managed to unlock the following options:

Despite the fact that there isn’t an FOV slider present in the advanced options, id Software’s Tiago Sousa has since confirmed on Twitter that there will be an FOV slider in the full version of the game. He tweeted:

DOOM is out on May 13, 2016 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
