Capcom has established a new mobile games studio, that will be making new games for Mega Man, Monster Hunter, and Sengoku Basara.
This new studio integrates acquisition Beeline Interactive with Capcom’s other mobile gaming divisions. Whereas previously Capcom pursued mobile strategies ndividually, today they will be making games in consort with each other. The upside to this change will be that they will streamline the decision making process, making it faster and more efficient.
These new mobile Mega Man, Monster Hunter, and Sengoku Basara games are planned for release by March 31, 2017. Capcom also hopes to bring their mobile titles from within Japan, and spread them around Asia. This may include the rerelease of existing Capcom mobile games, such as Monster Hunter Explore and Street Fighter X All Capcom, from Japan to the rest of Asia.
While Capcom recently sent out a survey for Mega Man 11, if you count mobile games, Capcom has continued to make Mega Man games. The very latest of these, Rockman GoGo!, was an endless runner from earlier this year.
