Paradox Interactive Has Unveiled Three New Games at Their Big Event

January 24, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Paradox Interactive has announced three new games at their Paradox Interactive Convention 2012.

The Swedish publisher held the event at Häringe Palace in Sweden, where it cited a 75% growth over the last year. The publisher is gearing up for another successful year with the announcement of three new games.

Magicka: The Other Side of the Coin

Teaming up once again with Paradox, Arrowhead has an all new expansion for Magicka in the works.

Titled "The Other Side of the Coin," the expansion puts players in the shoes of the Vampires for the first time ever to take on wizards, elves, dwarves, and other good guy characters.

Designed in the vein of Magicka: Vietnam, The Other Side of the Coin uses objective-based level progression.

A Game of Dwarves

We may have blown the lid off of A Game of Dwarves last week, but that hasn't stopped Paradox from officially unveiling A Game of Dwarves at the event.

In A Game of Dwarves, players take on the role of a dwarven prince charged with managing an entire colony of the bearded beings, as they dig their way down through the earth in search of gems and treasure, conduct research to aid them in their digging and building, and become masters at their craft.

Napoleon's Campaigns II

Keeping with Paradox's tradition of releasing great strategy games, Napoleon's Campaigns II will place players in the role of Napoleon as he undertakes his campaign of world dominance.

The game comes with a recollection of Napoleon's greatest campaigns, from Egypt to Waterloo, and features the largest Napoleonic map of conquest yet.
