PlayStation VR Launch Bundle Move Camera
Sony has revealed that they are open to bringing PlayStation VR to PC.

In an interview, a Sony spokesperson pointed out that the internals of a PlayStation 4 do not differ that much from a PC at all. On a technical level, there is nothing holding Sony back from making it possible someday. However, they also pointed out that their current focus is on the games that will be coming to PlayStation VR on PlayStation 4. Sony promises that there will be expansion for PlayStation VR into other fields, but they have nothing to officially announce at this time.

Bringing PlayStation VR to PC might not serve the interests of the PlayStation 4, but it may help Sony achieve their other goals with the device. Earlier this March, Sony revealed that PlayStation VR was intentionally made cheap to cater to the mass market. In the same month, they revealed  the launch price and release details and also revealed a pre-order bundle that would bundle in the required PlayStation Camera, as well as a Move controller and some games. Oculus VR’s Palmer Luckey remarked that Sony set a fair price for PlayStation VR, and sees his Oculus Rift targeting a different market.

PlayStation VR on PC may be an attractive prospect for some gamers, but it also raises a multitude of other questions. Will it work with VR games on Steam? Will it still require a PlayStation Camera? Will it take advantage of potentially more powerful hardware than the PlayStation 4 has or not?
