Xbox 360 Version of ‘The Witcher 2’ Will be an ‘Adaptation’

January 23, 2012 by Lyle Smith

It will not be a direct port.

CD Projekt, developer of The Witcher 2, has announced that it will be holding another online conference this Thursday where they will be unveiling a solid release date along with a new trailer for the 360 version of the sequel. Additional features will be announced as well.

Although we have to wait a few days for this bulk of new information, Michal Nowakowski, Member of the board CDP, revealed an interesting tidbit. “Witcher 2 on Xbox 360 is not just a simple port of a PC game, it’s an adaptation,” Nowakowski, claimed. “Our newest game has been enhanced with many new features, and according to many specialists it’s one of the best looking games on Xbox 360 ever.”

What is meant by 'adaptation' remains to be seen, but we will definitely find out on Thursday, so stay tuned!
