Amnesia: The Bunker Gets Delayed By A Week

April 13, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Developers are pushing the game back.

Update:

Since the announcement was made fans have been more than positive about the new week wait.

Glad you're prioritizing quality. We're happy to wait longer if it means you're more satisfied with the product and especially if it means we're getting a more polished experience. Best of luck!

Original Story…

The Amnesia franchise is well known, and it provides fans with a thrilling horror experience. For fans of the IP and the developers of Frictional Games, you might know that there is another game in the works. Amnesia: The Bunker is set to release next month, and while it had already received a delay announcement back in February that pushed the game back to May from March of this year, the studio has since unveiled that they need a bit more time with the project. Now another delay announcement has come up, which is putting the game release back by just a week.

It’s not a drastic delay, fortunately, so you won’t be waiting too much longer for Amnesia: The Bunker. Instead, the developers have taken to their official Twitter account and revealed that they needed a bit more time with the game. In particular, the developers are using this extra week of time to ensure that they can get the game polished and ready for the community of players. We’re sure that this extra week of time will be worth it for players and is apparently an ample amount of time for the developers to get it just right for a release into the marketplace.

With that said, you can mark your calendars for May 23, 2023. That will allow the game to officially release on the PC digital marketplaces alongside PlayStation and Xbox platforms. If you’re after a bit more insight into this game, then we can help. Amnesia: The Bunker is a new horror title that puts players into the role of a French soldier during the brutal and devastating war of World War I. But just like with previous titles from Frictional Games, Amnesia: The Bunker has a sinister horror element to the game.

Our protagonist will end up trapped within a bunker with seemingly no one else alive. Instead, a monster is seeking our protagonist out. You’ll have to carefully explore the bunker, solve puzzles, and escape the area with your life. Again, we should be getting this game next month unless the developers find that they need a bit more time than expected. But with that said, if you would like to check out the storyline trailer, you can view it in the video we have embedded above.
