A few days ago, we cast a report on Paradox Interactive’s and Zeal Game Studio’s upcoming Dwarf Fortress-like game, A Game of Dwarves.
The game, which simply carries a release date of “coming soon” has just been officially revealed with the launch of its first ever trailer.
“In a dark, dark land, there was a dark, dark forest. And in that dark, dark forest there was a dark, dark hole. And in that dark, dark hole there lived some dwarves,” goes the announcement trailer.
Described as “a classic management game with a fantasy twist,” A Game of Dwarves, you’re tasked with crafting an underground fortress for your nation of dwarves while battling against an evil wizard in a single player campaign.
In addition to leveling up your residents and training them to learn new abilities, you’ll discover lost treasure, fend off monsters, and uncover ancient ruins.
