Former Rockstar Games Dev Lists Red Dead Redemption 2 In LinkedIn Profile

March 22, 2016 by Ian Miles Cheong

A former developer at Rockstar Games lists RDR2 as one of the titles he worked on.

A former Rockstar Games developer listed a game that many gamers are expecting to be announced this year on his LinkedIn profile. The developer, Ruben Tavares, worked as a Senior 3D Artist at the Grand Theft Auto studio since 2006.

Among the games he worked on that he listed are Grand Theft Auto V and Midnight Club: Los Angeles. He also indicates in his profile that he worked on Red Dead Redemption 2. This may be in error, of course, but it may well be as the profile suggests: that the developer worked on a game we’re all expecting to be announced soon.

Here’s hoping we’ll see Red Dead Redemption 2 announced at this year’s E3, if not sooner. And yes, I know that it’s not going to be called RDR2, as it would be the third game in the Red Dead series. It’s just easier to call it that.
