Bungie has announced the latest content update for Destiny, which they’re dubbing the April Update. As they previously promised, it’s set to add a host of new content to the game—enough to keep players occupied until they release the game’s fourth expansion pack.

The new update, which is set for release on April 12, 2016, will include new PVE challenges, gear, a quest involving an existing strike, increased levels, and updates to both Crucible and sandbox modes.

Here’s the official bulletpoint list:

  • New PVE Challenges
  • New and Updated Gear
  • New Quest featuring the Blighted Chalice Strike
  • Increased Max Light and Rewards
  • Sandbox and Crucible Updates
  • And more…

The developers state that the game will be available for free as part of Destiny: The Taken King, so all you need to do is download the update and you’ll be set to experience everything they add. There will be no payments required, unlike the SRL racing event they ran for a few weeks.

For the next three Wednesdays, Bungie will release new details over its Twitch channel where they will introduce artists and designers from the team to talk about what they’re adding. Here’s when you can tune in:
