Nintendo Announced Special Mar10 Day Activities And Items!

March 2, 2023 by Todd Black

A very special day is coming!

Nintendo has many properties with a special day tied to them, and one was just celebrated on Monday. But in about a week, Nintendo’s biggest superstar will have his day in “Mar10 Day!” Mario’s official “holiday” has been celebrated for multiple years, and Nintendo dropped some information on what fans could expect from celebrations this year. That includes the reveal of the fourth wave of the Booster Course Pass, a tease of an upcoming Nintendo Switch bundle, and content that could get you a free trip to Super Nintendo World! So, are you ready to celebrate now?

At Nintendo NY, they had a fun, private party celebrating Mario complete with a special celebrity guest to entertain the young fans of Mario that were invited. But fear not. You didn’t miss out on everything. For those who haven’t gotten a Nintendo Switch or have been looking for another one, there is a special “Mar10 Day” bundle coming!

On a special day, you’ll be able to get a version of the console known as the “Choose One Bundle.” You’ll get the Switch, a set of red Joy-Cons to celebrate the plumber, stickers from the upcoming movie, and the ability to download one game for free, specifically, the choice between Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.

There will also be special sales going on all month on titles featuring Mario and his friends. So if you’ve been waiting to get a certain Mario-themed title, this might be the month to get them.

Then, there is the My Nintendo sweepstakes! If you go to your My Nintendo account, you can sign up to enter a contest where you can take three of your friends to Super Nintendo World! The contest starts on March 10th and ends in April, so you’ll have plenty of time to enter should you want to.

Oh, and Nintendo had something to say about the special day, too, as noted by Nintendo Everything:

“With a wide variety of activities all month long, we want all of Mario’s fans to know that every day can be a Mario Day,” said Devon Pritchard, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Communications. “We hope fans of all ages will find their own special way to experience Mario this month and create long-lasting memories that will put smiles on their faces.”

So if you’re ready, let the celebrations begin!
