Steam’s Pretty Much Throwing Presents At Us Now

December 20, 2011 by Elizabeth DeLoria

Steam is giving away every single game on Steam for one lucky person. Every single game. What the hell would you even do with that many games?

Steam is giving away every single game on Steam for one lucky person. Every single game. What the hell would you even do with that many games?

As part of the massive Steam holiday sale, Steam is giving away coupons, wish list items and one grand prize of every single game on Steam. Yes. All of them. Even the ones you don’t want. Especially the ones you don’t want.

“Each day, through January 1st, a set of six objectives will be revealed on The Great Gift Pile page. For each completed objective you will get either a gift or a lump of coal in your Steam Inventory.” The website reads.

Gifts will contain coupons or full games, which you can give away if you’re feeling generous. If you get a lump of coal, you can save them up or trade them with a friend who might be saving them. Seven pieces of coal can be crafted into a gift.

As for the objectives themselves, they actually look like quite a bit of fun and are like achievements that actually give you presents. Some of the objectives may require you to buy a game if you don't have it, but there's a crazy amount of stuff on sale right now, so chances are you won't be paying full price for it.

Happy hunting!
