Paper, Scissors, Stone? Nothing Suss!

December 1, 2011 by Elizabeth DeLoria

Lucas Arts and Bioware are up to something in Australia, and it’s not all that subtle.

Lucas Arts and Bioware are up to something in Australia, and it’s not all that subtle.

Both Lucas Arts and Bioware have filed for a classification with the Australian government for some kind of game called ‘Paper, Scissors, Stone.’

Ryan Langley, level designer at Halfbrick studios, made the discovery, and although we don’t really have any confirmation on what it is, there’s some pretty strong clues that it’s probably to do with Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Apart from the fact both Lucas Arts and Bioware made the application, it mentions the game contains ‘science fiction themes’ and that the game will feature ‘online content.’ EA is also listed as a publisher. Suspicious!

If the game is SWTOR related, this could be good news for Australians, who are still pretty angry about EA ‘not committing’ to a release date in Australia and New Zealand. The hate flows through them.

Wouldn’t it be funny if it was nothing to do with SWTOR but actually a game about playing Paper, Scissors, Rock? No? Okay.
