New Valorant Character, Harbor, Joins the Fight Next Week; New Gameplay Reveal Trailer Released

October 13, 2022 by Jordan Biazzo

Everyone welcome Harbor!

Riot Games has finally revealed the newest character to the ever-growing list of playable heroes in the hit multiplayer shooter, Valorant. Being the 21st agent to join the cast of characters, Harbor brings his own unique abilities to the table, making it hard not to have players not wanting to play as him.

In light of the official reveal of the newest character, the developers released new gameplay reveal trailer. This trailer gives players a good look at Harbor in action; some of his move sets, his special abilities, and more. Harbor’s real name is Varun Batra and he comes from the great country of India. The main focus around Harbor is water-based specials. As you can see from the minute-and-a-half-long trailer, Harbor brings water barriers to protect your squads, a water tidal wave that pushes enemies back, and even a water bubble that traps enemies. The long-awaited character is only a week away from officially releasing. Harbor joins the Valorant cast next week on October 18th, 2022.

Check out the brand-new gameplay reveal for Harbor down below:

For those who haven’t heard of Valorant yet, the game is most similar to titles such as Overwatch & Apex Legends. It’s a competitive first-person shooter with a heavy focus on character-based heroes. Similar to the other games, the developers keep adding characters to the game, keeping the community engaged both with new stories and new playable characters. Valorant is one of the big multiplayer games at the moment and it seems like the steam is continuing to roll for developer Riot Games.

In related news, Riot Games has recently released a new story-focused trailer for Agent Harbor. This trailer is more of a cinematic storytelling device, which we learn about the character’s backstory a bit more. Valorant has been gaining a ton of popularity from gamers and for good reason.

The game is fun, has its own unique characters, and has a dedicated team of developers bringing the best effort to make the game as good as they can. Harbor is most likely the last new character for 2022, but nothing is confirmed as of yet. Make sure to check out the new Harbor story trailer right here!

Valorant is now available on the PC platform. Are you excited about Harbor’s arrival to Valorant? Let us know in the comments below!
