Square Enix To Open Own Market On Android

November 21, 2011 by Addison Langford

Square Enix will be opening their own market place on Android phones in Japan, putting out lots of their classics.

One of the biggest complaints from Android users is the lack of games to be found on the market place. It seems it’s beginning to finally get better on the Android field. Square Enix will be opening their very own market on Android phones next month. The Square Enix Market will open in Japan and offer titles such as Dragon Quest Monsters Most Wanted!, Chaos Ring, Final Fantasy and Crystal Defenders.

More titles will of course come to the market shortly after, titles such as Chrono Trigger and Itadaki Street. Android owners using Japan’s KDDI network will be among the first to be able to access the market while other network users will be able to access it in the months to come.

With a big name publisher like Square Enix starting to put their games on the Android market we shall hopefully see the Android market competing with the iOS market even more than it already does. Which in the long run will only be better for all of us in the long run.
