EA has announced the release date for its highly anticipated first person shooter, Medal of Honor. The game will be releasing October 12, 2010 in NA(US & Canada) and October 15, 2010 in Europe for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Greg Goodrich, executive producer Medal of Honor, explained in his blog post what it took to bring to life the new “Leave a message” Trailer,
Everyone involved in creating the trailer was in complete agreement from the very beginning. We had three simple goals. We wanted to be authentic, we wanted to be respectful, and most of all, we wanted to give a special nod to Steven Spielberg, who created the Medal of Honor franchise over a decade ago.

So the fourth quarter like always is destined to see some big releases especially in the FPS genre with Halo: Reach expected to release in Q4, Call of Duty: Black Ops releasing November 9 and now Medal of Honor releasing October 12, it sure is going to be a fine quarter for fps lovers.
