In a new development, it looks as though Street Fighter X Tekken will be having characters trade clothes while beating each other senseless.
The screenshots, which have caused a little bit of confusion and a lot of giggling, show Chun-Li dressed as Panda, Cammy sporting a King costume and Bob donning what seems to be a Ryu cosplay. No, we’re not kidding.
Capcom-Unity posted the amusing images recently, along with some images from the game’s prologue, which have generated fair bit of excitement. It seems a lot of effort is going into this title, which makes us wonder what other kinds of insanity they might have lined up in the future.
This news raises a lot of questions, like what motivates a bear to squeeze itself into a leotard? Where does a bear get a leotard in the first place? Is Chun-Li’s Panda costume made out of real panda? (If so, she might want to watch out for PETA.)
Street Fighter X Tekken is scheduled for a March 2011 release.
