Famitsu today revealed four characters who will appear in Soul Calibur 5, along with some impressive screen shots.
Returning to the lineup this time around are Yoshimitsu and Cervantes, who’s actually looking a little more human than usual. Famitsu also introduced two rather interesting characters named Sheba and Aeon.
Aeon, a terrifying lizard-man abomination, differentiates himself from previous lizard-men abominations by having wings and the ability to spit fire. Fans of the first Soul Calibur game will remember him as the original lizard-man abomination, who’s new features seem set to destroy us all.
Fans of Monkey Magic, on the other hand, might find that Sheba looks a little bit familiar – not that it’ll matter while using that staff to beat your enemies into submission. It’s unknown yet if Sheba is set to be Killik’s replacement.
Along with the character announcements, Famitsu has also released some new screenshots of the characters in action, as well as some stats about each character and sketches. It’s a pretty interesting release, and worth checking out.
