Battlefield 3 Patch to Fix Tactical Light, AA Guns, Controller Lag on PS3 in 720p

November 14, 2011 by Mat Growcott

Being blinded by tactical lights a mile in the distance is soon to be a thing of the past as DICE announce they’re working on a patch

Found by Battlefieldo, DICE have announced that there's a patch on the way for Battlefield 3, a patch which will lower the effect of the tactical light at a distance. One of the small annoyances that plague the game, the tactical light has been one of the biggest complaints within the gameplay itself and a lot of fans will be quite happy to find out that it's being fixed.

Also to be fixed is an issue where portable AA gun can massively alter the path of a jet, obviously off-putting if you drive a lot of vehicles. Most importantly for some, though, is that controller lag issues while playing the game in 720p on the PS3 are also being looked into and should be fixed in the same patch.

No word on the date you'll be downloading just yet, but it seems getting this patch out is a definite priority.
