Bohemia Interactive unveiled the launch trailer for Vigor Chronicles: Deliverance, the latest update to its free-to-play online survival FPS.
Vigor Chronicles: Deliverance brings various updates to the original game. This new season introduces the Adrenaline Shot, a consumable that boosts your body’s performance. It also brings a new weapon, the SMG Berry M12, included in a new Battle Pass inspired by Arma Reforger cosmetics.
The trailer shows the story of John Anderson, a captive soldier transported to a Russian prison close to the Norwegian border. After being tortured for months, someone helps him escape his cell. He picks up an Adrenaline Shot, the new consumable introduced in Vigor Chronicles: Deliverance, to restore his health.
After this action-packed scene, we glimpse some of Vigor Chronicles: Deliverance’s gameplay. We can see Anderson dodging bullets, picking up the lock of an armored safe, and hiding from Russian guards. To defeat his enemies, Anderson packs the new weapon introduced with this update, the SMG Berry M12.
New Consumable: the Adrenaline Shot
Vigor Chronicles: Deliverance adds a new consumable to the game: the Adrenaline Shot. Using this power-up will provide an instant speed boost that lasts for 60 seconds. It also lowers weight debuffs based on how full your backpack is.
After a minute, the effects of the Adrenaline Shot wear off. You can use a second one right as the first bonus disappears to keep on running with that full bag of yours. You can carry a maximum of 3 Adrenaline Shots in your inventory.
When using an Adrenaline Shot, the stamina pool will change and a bar called “Adrenaline Breakpoint” will appear. If your stamina is above the adrenaline breakpoint, you will get the adrenaline boost. But as soon as your stamina hits that adrenaline breakpoint, the effects disappear and your speed and inventory weight return to normal.
A New Battle Pass Inspired by Arma Reforger Cosmetics
The new Battle Pass coming with Vigor Chronicles: Deliverance brings several military cosmetics. This is a collaboration between Vigor and the most popular franchise from Bohemia Interactive, Arma.
Vigor’s Season 13 Battle Pass features 75 levels, each unlocking a new in-game reward. It includes the latest weapon joining the game, the new SMG Berry M12. The Vigor Battle Pass costs 690 crowns, or around $20.
Other Improvements Coming to Vigor Chronicles Deliverance
On top of the new consumable, Battle Pass, and weapon, Vigor receives various updates with the release of Deliverance. Shelters are now easier to improve, with tweaks to the materials needed to upgrade, as well as their price and time required to craft. Instant builds are now cheaper to purchase.
Vigor Chronicles: Deliverance also features Seasonal Challenges. You can access them from the “Challenges” tab once you progressed in the story. Each season will bring new Seasonal Challenges that grant exclusive rewards.
Vigor and its latest season are already available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Vigor Chronicles: Deliverance is free-to-play.
