Skyrim might be launching in just two short days — 36 hours if you're getting picky — but that's plenty of time to drool over every scant detail and brief glimpse we get of the game.
Cue this droolworthy new trailer from Bethesda. The World of Skyrim, as it's called, intercuts beautiful, extended shots of the game's environments with plot-point heavy dialogue, all backed by an epic score. There are windswept plains, mountain castles, a town set beneath an aurora, and what appears to be a crossover from Fallout's Caesar's Legion. (Well, probably not an actual crossover, but there's a white haired dude in a tunic saying the word "legate". Ring any bells?)
Sure, a trailer's no substitute for actually playing the game, but it'll certainly help tide you over for this final agonizing stretch before the game hits stores.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skryim launches worldwide on November 11 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
