The Division Trailer Explores The Skills You’ll Use To Retake New York

February 4, 2016 by Stephen Daly

Familiarize yourself with the skills your agent will use in the game.

Tom Clancy's The Division
Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Massive Entertainment’s Tom Clancy’s The Division, which delves into the various skills that will be available to players when they get their hands on the game.

There are three skill sets available – Security, Medical, and Technology – and this video offers more insight into what they offer and how they work. Each skill boasts various different mods. In the Medical set, for instance, the Pulse skill can be modded to inflict more damage on enemies within the pulse’s range. Skills and mods can also be combined across categories to offer both an auto turret and deployable cover, for example.

Of course, if you played the recent closed beta for the game you’ll already have some idea how a small number of the game’s skills work but the trailer, which you can view below, offers a good deal of information on how your skills can develop.

Four skins for The Division can be unlocked now on the game’s website. The skins in question are Police, Firefighter, Paramedic, and Hunter. In order to unlock them, go to the site, log-in to your Uplay account, choose your console, and enter the code “AGENTORIGINS”.

This only works for those in the Americas. Players elsewhere in the world can unlock the skins through various retailer pre-order incentives.

Flickr user Anthemios has uploaded over 100 high-resolution screenshots from the game on his account, showing an abandoned yet hauntingly beautiful New York City. The gallery is well worth checking out to get you in the mood ahead of release.

Tom Clancy’s The Division launches on March 8th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
