Ultimate Battlefield vs. Call of Duty Infographic

November 7, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

The folks at Visual.ly have compiled an accurate infographic on the two franchises as they go head to head.

Selling over five million copies, Battlefield 3 has been out for a couple of weeks now; and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is just about ready for release, boasting the highest pre-orders for a videogame ever.

As the two juggernauts get ready to butt heads, the folks at Visual.ly have put together a fantastic infographic of the Battlefield and Call of Duty series of videogames, with the ultimate timeline of the two major franchises.

The infographic timeline covers games from both franchises from the very beginning—Battlefield 1942 and Call of Duty. Both the series find their roots as PC games, but quickly migrated to consoles and even handhelds as they gained in popularity.

Hype be damned. Like us, Visual.ly subscribes to the code of ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists, so you won't find anything 'off' about their figures. They'll stand by it, and so will we.
