Get Your Free Copy Of Need For Speed

Feb 3, 2016 Olga Lexell

But you have to get it quickly.

Need For SpeedEvery once in a while, the Internet produces something truly magnificent. In today’s case, it’s the fact that Need For Speed: Most Wanted is currently free for download on Origin.

Catch? Nope. None. The concept behind Origin is that games go up for free and once you download one, you get to keep it for life — but you have to act  fast, because games can disappear at any moment. By the time you read this article, the game may be gone.

While the entire concept seems too good to be true, the site is legitimate. Origin also offers free 48-hour trials of games and provides information on games that are always free-to-play. Currently, the other offers on the site are a 48-hour free trial (“Game Time” version) of The Sims 4 and and the FTP Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances.

Origin also offers a robust selection of games for under $5 and $10 dollars. Currently, you can get Battlefield: Bad Company 2, SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, among others, for less than $5 each. Of course, you’ll have to wade through some bizarre gems in the process, but for this steep a discount, you may as well.

You can even get more popular games, like Star Wars Battlefront, at a lower-than-normal price. The basic edition of Battlefront is going for $30 on Origin right now, on sale from its usual $60. The price is not expected to last — so be sure to grab it while it’s hot.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted debuted on October 30, 2012 for Mobile, PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, WiiU, and PC.
