Assassin’s Creed Revelations Goes Multiplayer

November 4, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

Two new videos of Assassin’s Creed Revelations show off the game’s multiplayer mode.

The multiplayer mode in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was easily one of the most innovative multiplayer modes in recent times. Players involved must use stealth and subterfuge to kill their prey and escape from their hunters.

Two newly released videos of Assassin's Creed: Revelations show a return of the game's highly innovative multiplayer mode, which take place within the Animus. One of the videos shows off a story vignette with the player assuming the role of an Abstergo agent, who hones his skills to accumulate wealth and success.

The second trailer is much more gameplay focused, and delves into the game's multiplayer options. This time around, players can customize their character—or guise—with a variety of weapons, abilities, and perks. Players fight in the training ground of the Ottoman Empire.

New modes include Deathmatch, Steal the Artifact (CTF), and Artifact Assault.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is set for release on November 15 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
