Battlefield 3 Gets Horns Back, Updated ComRose

Fans have been clamoring to ask DICE to implement horns into Battlefield 3's vehicles. The horns were strangely missing from the vehicles despite their ubiquitous presence in all the previous Battlefield games.

The trouble of of asking and begging for DICE to put the noisemakers back in has resulted in a response from Tomas Danko, VO producer at DICE, who confirmed in Twitter today that the horns will be making it back into the game in an upcoming patch.

Honk Honk! You wanted car horns, we listened. Look out for upcoming patches.

Danko says that much remains on the to-do list, and that the studio plans to keep updating Battlefield 3 with patches. In addition to the horns, the ComRose will be updated to provide voiceovers like "Follow Me, Go! Go! Go!, I need a ride, Yes, No, Thanks, Sorry," and more.

It's good news for fans of Battlefield 3.
