Phoenix Wright has surpassed the popularity of so many other games that it's even managed to get a movie adaptation.
Known as Gyakuten Saiban in Japan, the Phoenix Wright movie is directed by Takashi Miike—best known for Audition.
Unlike so many failed western adaptations of video games, the Phoenix Wright movie looks exactly like its Nintendo counterpart—as we can see in the promotional image they just released.
A teaser website for the movie reveals a February 11, 2012 Japanese release date. No word on when the rest of the world will be able to see it, so you'll want to keep your eyes out for imports.
