Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is launching early next year and is shaping up to be a definite must-buy. It's looking to offer a pretty in-depth shooter, perhaps without all the extra features weighing it down. It's a classic game, remodelled for the modern user.
The video above shows some of the new weapons, explains what has happened to some of the old weapons and generally just shows how the game can be played. The gent playing dies a few times in moments that make you scream "but I wouldn't have put myself in such a silly position," but he's playing against other very, very good players and he definitely holds his own.
With cross-platform play a definite feature and support from thousands of dedicated users, early 2012, for me at least, will be entirely dedicated to CS: GO.
