The Diablo III beta's been going on for quite awhile now, but one thing it lacks is cinematics. It's just pure gameplay, and while that's cool for most people, many people actually enjoyed Diablo II for the movies. I was one of them.
Not one to let us down, Blizzard's just released a sneak peak of the intro cinematic that's set to run (probably for night and day) at the upcoming BlizzCon event.
"Peer not into the shadows of the Hells… for there is always something peering back" reads the Blizzard post. Yeah, they're butchering Nietzsche's quote:
"And when you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you."
Needless to say, the trailer promises to be absolutely stunning.
