Bethesda's PR-man and public face of the company Pete Hines announced today on his Twitter account that the PC requirements for Skyrim are on the way.
"PC specs are coming next week," wrote Hines in response to a user named Vildemark who told him that the reddit following on r/skyrim had breached 10,000 users—or fans of the game.
We can expect to see the information made available to us, hopefully with both the game's minimum requirements and recommended specs. With any luck, Skyrim will be optimized for the PC and look as good as its predecessors did for their time.
Given Rage's problematic release—a game also published by Bethesda—on the PC, let's just hope the game's development on the console hasn't adversely affected the PC version.
