From Software have shared new screenshots and details for Dark Souls 3.
This time, you start off the game awoken from the Untended Graves as an ‘Unkindled’. You will be tested by Iudex Gundyr. If you survive, you then head towards Firelink Shrine, where the Fire Keeper will start you out on your quest.
There are other characters in the Shrine, such as Hawkwood, a fellow Unkindled, a fugitive from Farron’s Undead Legion, and a strange man named Ludleth of Courland. Ludleth seems to refer to himself as a Lord of Cinder.
The screenshots don’t disappoint, depicting a world that’s simultaneously bleak, drab, deadly, and steeped in detail.
Dark Souls 3 will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, on April 12 in North America and Europe. Check out the new screenshots below.
