The Witcher 2 Giveaway Now Extended To Most Regions, Xbox One

January 22, 2016 by Ryan Parreno

I only hope you don’t happen to be in the one region that didn’t get it – Japan.

Microsoft has shared details and updated their The Witcher 2 giveaway.

As was noted here yesterday, Microsoft put The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings early, even before an official announcement. Major Nelson finally confirmed the giveaway on his blog, available until February 5.

On Twitter, Nelson also confirmed two facts; you can also get The Witcher 2 free on Xbox One as well as Xbox 360, via backwards compatibility, and you should be able to get it now whatever region you are in. The only exception is Japan.

Update: Free Witcher 2 download is now available in all regions (except Japan) https://t.co/u49Dm48TT4 pic.twitter.com/cNUjLE0eLL
