Life Is Strange Director’s Commentary, Subtitles Released Free Alongside Limited Edition

January 21, 2016 by Ryan Parreno

Dontnod decided to release the extras to digital game owners because the limited edition would be so rare in the first place.

Dontnod has shared a special bonus to everyone who bought Life is Strange.

They recently released Life is Strange Limited Edition, which bundles all the episodes in one disc, and includes some extras. These include an artbook, the full sountrack, subtitles and director’s commentary.

But wait, you may ask. I thought you said everyone who bought it already is getting a bonus? And that’s exactly what’s happening.

The director’s commentary and subtitles are going out to all players who bought the game digitally, completely for free. If you have it on PC or Xbox One, you can get it right now. Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 players will have to wait until January 25.

Subtitles may be more limited than you would have hoped. In any case, check if your language is covered below:

  • Spanish (Mexican)
  • Spanish  (Castilian)
  • Brazilian-Portuguese
  • Portuguese
  • German
  • Italian

Of course, some of you may prefer to get the Limited Edition now, knowing what it contains. Good luck looking around for it, since Dontnod decided to release the extras to digital game owners because it would be so rare in the first place.
