Techland, developer of Dying Light, released a video today detailing the three distinct categories of the new in-game challenges called Bounties that will be found in the game’s upcoming free enhanced edition update.
The bounties are unique objectives scattered throughout the game. There are basic bounties, which are described as “fun activities” like surviving night chases, destroying zombies, and cutting off enemy heads. Daily bounties change every 24 hours, and include activities like climbing tall towers and surving the fall. Finally, there are community challenges, which will last a couple days, and have cumulative goals that the entire community will work towards.
Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition launches February 9. Players who own the base game will receive several upgrades, including bounties, for free as part of the enhanced edition. Players who purchase The Following expansion will receive all of the content. We recently got a look at the expansion’s story, which includes a mysterious prophecy.
