320GB Xbox 360 Hard Drive Going on Sale Later this month.

October 11, 2011 by Josh Harmon

The new, larger hard drive comes with a free copy of LEGO Star Wars III and a $130 price tag.

Microsoft’s Major Nelson has announced that a new 320GB Xbox 360 hard drive will go on sale later this month.

First included with the Gears of War 3 limited edition console, the new drive will set you back $129.99, presumably meaning a price cut for the 250GB model currently occupying that price point. Like all recent storage upgrades, this 320GB drive will only be compatible with the redesigned Xbox 360 S models.

To further sweeten the deal, Microsoft will be bundling the drive with a download code for a full copy LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. Hey, with that much space, you’ve got to start filling it up somehow.

If you need to transfer your data over onto this behemoth, Microsoft will also be introducing a new universal data transfer cable sometime in early November, compatible with all 360 hard drives. That’ll retail for $19.99. Of course, if you’re into low-tech solutions, you can always transfer your files over piecemeal with a USB stick.
