Nightwing Confirmed for Batman: Arkham City DLC

October 11, 2011 by Josh Harmon

Dick Grayson’s other alter-ego will be added to the game courtesy of a November 1 DLC pack.

Last week, an achievement leak outed Nightwing as the fourth playable character in Arkham City's challenge maps, alongside Robin, Catwoman, and, of course, Batman. Now Warner Bros. Interactive has made it official, announcing the first details on the Nightwing Bundle Pack and revealing his in-game appearance.

In addition to adding Nightwing to the roster, the DLC pack will include two new challenge maps, Wayne Manor and Main Hall, as well as a bonus skin based on Nightwing's appearance in the Batman animated series. The bundle will be available for purchase on November 1, with a pricetag of 560 MSP or $6.99 on the PSN.

They also sent along a nifty character render, showcasing Nightwing and his trademark Eskrima sticks. Take a look.

Warner Bros. also announced that the Robin Bundle Pack will be available on November 22, carrying the same $7 price tag.

Batman: Arkham City's worldwide launch on the PS3 and Xbox 360 kicks off in North America on October 18. The PC version of the game was recently delayed into mid-November.
