FFXV Devs Give Us The Details We Want

January 12, 2016 by Olga Lexell

Everything you need to know about Altissia.

2016 is finally here, which means Final Fantasy XV is nearly here, though we don’t know a whole lot about it. To give us some more background info, game planner Ishikawa Tomonori answered fan questions on the Final Fantasy XV forums regarding Altissia.

Here are some of the key tidbits we gleaned:

  • Altissia is large and has a lot of different locations: cafes, marketplaces, parks, you name it.
  • Large buildings have multiple warp points, which is a big part of the game’s battle system.
  • Players will be able to switch between battle modes to adjust difficulty.

While there’s no tentative release date for FFXV, the game will be available for PS4 and Xbox One some time this year.
