This Fallout 4 Guided Bullets Mod Helps You Conserve Ammo

January 8, 2016 by Carlos Chism

Although some may find it a bit too helpful.

Even with the Scrounger perk, finding certain types of ammo can be difficult in the commonwealth. If you really love your Plasma Pistol in Fallout 4, but can’t use it too often due to a lack of ammo, this may be the mod for you (via IGN).

Titled Self-Guided Sniper Bullets, the mod adds the ability to automatically track targets for various weapons. After you install it, head to any workbench menu, scroll to the scope section for the gun you’d like to conserve ammo with, and build the Targeting Computer weapon mod.

Unfortunately, the mod isn’t available for every weapon in the game yet. Creator Artesia58 has made a list of all the compatible guns, however, which you can find below.

  • 10mm pistol
  • .44 pistol
  • Deliverer
  • Pipe bolt-action
  • Pipe pistol
  • Pipe revolver
  • Assault rifle
  • Combat rifle
  • Hunting rifle
  • Railway rifle
  • Submachine gun
  • Syringer
  • Combat shotgun
  • Double-barrel shotgun
  • Fat Man
  • Minigun
  • Broadsider
  • Plasma pistol
  • Plasma rifle
  • Gauss rifle
  • Alien blaster pistol
  • Cryolator

If you want to see the mod in action, check out the video below. If you need any other help in the wasteland, make sure to check out our ultimate Gameranx guide to Fallout 4.

While some may find this helpful, others may find it makes the game too easy. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
