Trine 3: The Artifacts Of Power Gets PS4 Release Date

As reported earlier this month, Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is launching for PS4 – and the PlayStation blog confirmed that the game will be available next week.

What exactly is Trine 3? Kai Tuovinen from Frozenbyte Games explains:

“Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is a 3D platforming game set in a beautiful fantasy world of vivid colors, and is also a mixture of puzzles, adventure, and action. You’re playing with three distinct characters: a Wizard specialized in conjuring boxes and levitation, a stout-hearted Knight with powerful fighting abilities, and an elusive Thief who excels at fighting from afar with her bow and overcoming obstacles with her grappling hook. Each character will help you in different ways on your and action-packed journey.”

Trine 3 takes pride in its beautiful 3D graphics, which is great because the game supports stereoscopic 3D on 3D TVs. All-in-all, Trine 3 will have seven chapters, three playable characters, local co-op multiplayer support (for up to three), and a soundtrack by award-winning Ari Pulkkinen.

Trine 3 drops on December 22.
