White Wolf Has Plans For World Of Darkness Games, Movies, And TV

December 16, 2015 by Olga Lexell

The new creative team plans for the future.

As reported by Escapist, White Wolf gave a presentation at Tenebrae Noctis, a World of Darkness fan event in Germany, that outlined the publisher’s plans for the future. It looks like the company, recently acquired by Paradox Interactive, plans to license the World of Darkness properties to other creative partners. All products will purportedly operate under one banner and support a single, continuous story.

Because of this restructuring, some previous storylines will become non-canon. "While they will be separate in their thematics," said Lead Storyteller Martin Ericsson, "we are looking to unify the look and the feel and the emotional overarching tone of the World of Darkness to make sure that when (and/or if) crossovers happen, they will work."

White Wolf did not name specific products and reiterated that creative partner discussions were not complete yet. Ericsson did note a potential future sequel to Hunter: The Reckoning.

Stay tuned to Gameranx to see how this story develops.
