Powers Season 2 Debuts First Look Trailer

PlayStation has released the official season two first look trailer for their original series Powers. Brian Bendis, the show’s executive producer, took to the PlayStation blog to give us a glimpse what the show is going to look like this season.

“For those of you who checked out season one, I think your first reaction may be, ‘this looks different,’” writes Bendis. “It is. Just like our characters, we’re growing into our powers (bad pun intended) and the show has continued to evolve and grow in a way we are all extremely proud of.”

The upcoming season features some pretty distinct talent: District 9’s Sharlto Copley, The Hateful Eight’s Michael Madsen, Star Trek’s Wil Wheaton, and The Killing’s Michelle Forbes.

Bendis recently co-created Netflix and Marvel’s Jessica Jones but remains committed to Powers, probably because he also co-created the comic book series that inspired the show.
