Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is expanding with its first DLC pack, which has been dated for release in early 2016, Activision has announced.
The DLC, titled Awakening, will be exclusive to the PlayStation platforms for 30 days before it comes out on the PC and Xbox platforms due to an exclusivity deal between the publisher and Sony. Previous iterations of the series were exclusive to Microsoft.
The DLC will include four maps: Skyjacked, Rise, Splash and Gauntlet, and a new Zombies mission called Der Eisendrachen. It's the first of four planned DLC map packs.
Sony will be the presenting partner for the Call of Duty World League, an eSports effort for the game, in early 2016.
