Destiny Refer-a-Friend Initiative Offers a Sparrow and Emotes

November 24, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Team up with a Kinderguardian for some impressive rewards.

Bungie has released details of the recently announced refer-a-friend initiative for Destiny.

In order to encourage existing players to invite their friends to start playing the shooter, Bungie will be rewarding those who team up with Kinderguardians and complete in-game tasks with them.

By signing in on Bungie's website, you'll be shown a button which reads "Invite a Friend Today." Selecting it creates a unique link which can only be used by a single player and must be used within the first week of account creation.

When you've both joined up the Speaker in the Tower will offer you the 'A Tale of Two Guardians' quest, which offers a range of incentives for completion. They are:

  • Elemental Infinite Edge (Sword)
  • EV-34 Vector Infinite (Sparrow)
  • Duo Dance (Emote)
  • High Five (Emote)
  • Infinite Link (Banner)
  • Sign of the Infinite (Emblem)

The program is restricted to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game and requires that new players have The Taken King expansion.
