Destiny is a game that often brings people together but now a couple in northern Minnesota has tied the knot with the 'Iron Bands of Matrimony,' a reference to the Iron Banner tournament.

"My wife and I have played Destiny since Beta and both of us love the Iron Banner and the decor and theme of Iron Regalia so it was natural choice to compliment our Wedding day. One of the main activities we've always bonded on is gaming and Destiny is one of the few remaining great Co-Op games. We're apart of a great clan and many of them attended our wedding including several who drove 13hrs to make our special day."
Iron Medallions were given out to those in attendance with the Gamertag of each guest and the couple's rings were inspired by the Skorris Bond. The groom's mother also made 25 arm bonds featuring the Iron Banner sigil.
On Twitter, Destiny developer Bungie commented, "Congratulations, you two. The couple that plays together stays together."
