EA Sports has revealed the first details of UFC 2, which will be available for PS4 and Xbox One in spring 2016.
The developer and publisher confirmed today that Ronda Rousey will be the cover star and provided details on the game's five modes.
“Ronda Rousey is a world class athlete that has helped grow the UFC into what it is today,” EA CEO Andrew Wilson commented. “I am a huge fan of this sport and I’m proud to have her as our global cover athlete for EA Sports UFC 2.”
Career mode introduces the option to play as a woman fighter for the first time in a UFC game. A new Title Chase systems allows for Online Championships, while KO Mode focuses, as you might expect, on knockouts. The UFC Ultimate Team and Custom Event Creator roundout the modes.
EA has developed a new knockout physics system and enhanced grappling.
