Devil’s Third Online Beta And Launch Details; New Modes, Features, And More

November 12, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

Valhalla and Nexon already have plans set in place from this month until the next year.

Valhalla Game Studios and Nexon have shared more details onDevil’s Third Online, and its pending debut in Japan.

Closed beta will already be commencing this November 27 until December 1, and open beta starts January 2016, with the launch coming later that month.

Closed beta will bring back four modes from the Wii U original; Battle Royale, Team Deathmatch, Cross Fight, and Carnival. Two completely new modes are coming for the open beta:

In Chimera Clean Up, hordes of monsters, like trolls and golems, will stalk all over post-Kessler America, for players to take on solo or in two to four player teams. You clear this mode after beating a specific number of waves.

In Seize Match, clans fight each other to take control of their bases. As you can imagine, such a mode promises to be very demanding, so it’s still in the works and won’t be available until Spring 2016.

Devil’s Third Online will have three new rulesets, namely Ignition (traditional explosions only), Cargo Capture (fight to take supplies), and Chicken (no, not running off a cliff, or colliding head on, like actually chasing around chickens in the map).

On PC Devil’s Third Online will gain voice chat, controller support, and a fun new feature to take screenshots and scatter them on your enemies.
