GTA Online Marks Halloween with Slasher Film-Inspired Adversary Mode

October 29, 2015 by Stephen Daly

New vehicles, face paint, and masks also introduced.

Rockstar is celebrating Halloween in Grand Theft Auto Online from now until November 16th (someone should really tell them Halloween is this Saturday).

Some of the festivities include an Adversary Mode, which has been designed in the guise of a slasher film. In it, as many as eight players fight in the dark, with the game randomly choosing one players to be the Slasher. The Slasher has a shotgun, while everyone else is armed with a flashlight. If you can stay alive for three minutes, all of the survivors are given weapons however.

Another addition is the Lurcher Hearse and Franken Stage vehicles, and 20 ghoulish new Bobbleheads that can be added to the dashboard of any customizable Lowrider.

New face paints and masks are also available, and there'll be a livestream this Friday, October 30th at 5pm focusing on the extra content.

The event is available to players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can find out more information on the Rockstar Newswire.
