Battlezone Coming To PlayStation VR As An Exclusive

October 27, 2015 by Holly Green

Check out the vibrant sci-fi feel of this virtual reality reboot of the arcade vehicle combat game.

During Sony's media briefing today for the PlayStation 4, it was revealed that Battlezone is back in big, virtual way. This reboot will be coming to PlayStation VR exclusively as a virtual reality revival of the series, with all new environments, gameplay and enemies and more. The digital vehicle combat title was announced this past June and is being developed by UK indie publisher Rebellion, the team behind Sniper Elite 3 and Aliens vs. Predator. Says Rebellion CEO and Co-founder Jason Kingsley:

"We're delighted to be part of PlayStation VR's launch line-up. Developing Battlezone is such a thrill because we're right at the forefront, riding this incredible new wave of VR technology."
